Wikipedia: Originally, there was a wooden bridge here, which was finally replaced by a solid bridge in 1957. However, the structure, which had become too small, was demolished in 1971, and the current bridge was built in 1973.[2] The road bridge has a curved plan and crosses the Itz River at an oblique angle. In 2008, 7,000 vehicles crossed the structure daily. It has two lanes and sidewalks on both sides. The three-span prestressed concrete structure has a single-span slab girder cross-section and four piers with a solid circular cross-section.[3]
