Wikipedia: The Brockardt Bridge is a pedestrian bridge made of iron trusses. The structure was built by the Stuttgart company Christian Leins for the Coburg master builder Bernhard Brockardt as a private footbridge and transferred to the city of Coburg in 1933. The trough bridge's construction features iron truss girders on both sides with riveted diagonal angle profiles and horizontal T-profiles. The bridge is 22.15 meters long and four meters wide. The passage width is 2.82 meters. The structure was renovated in 2014. The wooden plank deck was replaced with steel plates, and reinforcement measures increased the bridge's weight from 13.5 to 15 tons.
