in the immediate vicinity of the evening Valley mill
The building is located in a left turn with R = 9000 m as well as regarding the height development in a tub with R = 27000 m at a medium-sized longitudinal gradient of 0.95% in the East. Two separate, 199 m long continuous beams with spans were built by 29 + 3 x 47 m + 29 m. It was built as special proposal in prestressed concrete instead of the official draft, which called for a two-part steel composite superstructure. T-beams was elected the two dock-side superstructure with 2,915 m cantilevered deck, so that a balanced cross section resulting in a bridge between 6.30 m. The 1.50 m wide bridges received a suit by 10 cm. The construction height is 2.30 m. The two adjacent buildings are supported by depending on a number of pillars. The octagonal in plan cross-section of pillar is designed from a rectangle with the dimensions 2 m times 5 m. In the head section of the cross section to the arrangement of the bearings is widened karitellartig to a rectangle of 3 m times 8 m. The sloping sides and the side, 1.20 m are characteristic for the pillar diameter wide and 0.35 m deep, rectangular constrictions. The bevels and cut-outs create significant light and shadows on the pillars and allow a freer perspective under the bridge at bias review. The pillar broadsides were a suit of 1:80.
Construction by: shaft Nordhausen GmbH, special construction by Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH
