The superstructure will be constructed as a three-span timber-concrete composite T-beam bridge. In this construction method, the T-beam webs are constructed as block-bonded glulam beams and connected to the reinforced concrete deck slab in a shear-resistant manner. Reinforced concrete cross beams are planned for the bearing axes on the abutments. Here, the timber beams will be rigidly connected to the reinforced concrete cross beams via form-fit connections and tension anchors made of bonded steel rods.
The tender process will open in September 2025.
