    Construction experts: McIver, Farquhar (c. 1824–1901) From Palmerston, the bridge is almost invisible, well hidden by numerous bushes and trees. Its presence is indicated by a sign and a picnic area. The bridge itself is not clearly visible until one is on the new bridge that runs parallel to it. The roadway is covered with earth and grass, and the original stone is hidden. The arches are visible from certain angles. They are constructed of local slate. Prominent flutes form the bridge's arch, which spans ten meters. There are curved wing walls, but the bridge lacks a solid railing. The current condition of the bridge is poor. Stones are missing from the top of the flute facing the state road.
