The bridge has an iron lattice girder for the main span and short wooden arch girders at both ends. The piers and abutments are made of stone. It was adapted to the site by adding a 30-foot (9.1 m) span at each end, resulting in a total length of 160 feet (48.7 m). The deck is 30 feet (9.1 m) above the water level and has a load limit of 609 tons.
