The Queen Juliana Bridge (Dutch Koningin Julianabrug) is a Road bridge over the Sint Annabaai called Straits in the city Willemstad on Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands. It connects the districts of Punda and Otrabanda. The four-lane, steel trapezoidal frame bridge crosses the strait at a height of 56.4 m to allow seagoing vessels access to the Schottegat. The bridge was opened on April 30, 1974. [1] The predecessor structure It collapsed in 1967, killing 15 workers. It was named after Juliana, Queen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
