The structure was built by the Georgian-Israeli Kass Investment Group and opened on June 14, 2022. Construction took three years and cost approximately 37 million euros (120 million GEL).
The bridge's namesake feature: A multi-story, diamond-shaped bar (a glass structure weighing approximately 9 tons) is suspended in the center of the bridge, offering 360-degree views and serving as a restaurant/café.
The bridge is located in the Tsalka Nature Reserve in southern Georgia (Kvemo Kartli region), about a two-hour drive (approximately 90 to 100 kilometers) from the capital, Tbilisi. It spans the canyon carved by the Khrami River.
