Static system: Rod arch bridge of (Langer'scher bar).

The road bridge in the course of the sea lane crossing the S and mainline tracks of the Wannsee railway in the District of Zehlendorf. Old bridge built in 1892 was dilapidated and no longer corresponded to the current transport requirements and was limited in addition to a strong narrowing of the road cross section in the bridge area of the loading capacity of 2.8 tonnes. Therefore, a replacement building had to be planned. The superstructure of (Langer'scher bar was due to the cramped conditions of height as Rod arch bridge) designed and consists of 2 main beams (hollow boxes) with bow, cross beams, orthotropic deck and cantilevered walkway slabs. A protective tube for the water line was integrated into the main sources of each, which is part of the supporting structure. For architectural reasons, the arch was tapered width upwards and continuously to 0.30 m. In the bottom of the arch four lighting masts were arranged on the main carriers. Four pot bearings (Punktkipplager) and transition structures waterproof for the structure transitions were used for the seating of the above construction.

The abutments are clad steel sheet pile wall with reinforced concrete. The back connected abutments Chambers including the pipe Chambers are held by datagram carrier and Verpressankerpfähle. The clothing of all visible surfaces of the abutments consists of brick masonry. Part of the construction works is also a pedestrian walkway, passing the train accompanying path being under the bridge.

Construction costs (incl. pedestrian walkway and stop): 6.100.000 DM
