The bridge was built from January 1956 until June 1956, to secure the transport of Amdorfs and new castle. Until then, the main roads in the surrounding communities and the city empty only from the passenger ferry Amdorf and on the Pünte Wiltshausen were achieving. School visitors, mail, milk and livestock as well as fire and rescue service had to, if at all possible, join the dirt detour via Stickhausen.<br>The Leda bridge, a steel arch bridge, is 150 meters long, 2.50 m wide and 2.44 meters high from the bridge floor up to the top including the driveways. The pure bridge is 50 metres long, the lane is narrow 1.85 meters
