Information provided by Jens Bitsch:

Approx. 320 metres length without ramps. 2 Tracks plus 2 lanes for pedestrians.
The Tower comes from the middle ages, but was built in the architectural style of the Nibelungen. The bridge tower on the other side of the Rhine was destroyed in the second world war. The bridge received your Tower hoods which were removed during the second world war to install anti-aircraft 1990 again.
The middle section between the formerly 2 towers was rebuilt (concrete instead of iron), which restored the bridge tower on worms side in 1961. The Tower on Hessian side was demolished.
The second Rhine bridge next door is to be finally in April 2005.
