Wikipedia:<br>Pont d' Argenteuil is the only road bridge over the Seine at Argenteuil (see Seine bridges in Paris).<br>The 1822 built bridge was destroyed in 1870 in German French war. Initially, the bridge was replaced temporarily by a footbridge made of wood, as painted by Alfred Sisley. Until 1874, the new bridge could be opened. It consists of three steel arches between elevated pillars made of natural stone. There were two towers to the survey of the Brückenzolls at both ends.<br>This bridge was a popular subject of the painter Claude Monet, Gustave Caillebotte and the photographer Adolphe Braun next to the adjacent railway bridge (built in 1861):
