The concrete arch was created in the Melanbauweise, in which a steel truss arch serves as formwork scaffolding and concrete reinforcement (West Bridge).<br>Information provided by Claus Wentz:<br>The new inner Ludwig bridge replaced the abandoned 1934/35 old bridge, which was built in 1891.
Bow width = 43 m - arc bottom above normal water level height clearance length approx. 6 m - 77 STS.
