Www.luise-berlin.de information:<br><br>The Möckernbrücke leads banks over the Landwehrkanal in the course of the Möckernstraße between the Halleschem River and Tempelhof and is crossed by the viaduct of underground.It was built in 1898-99 by Friedrich Krause and Ludwig Hoffmann as a curved sandstone bridge with a central span of 16,00 m. It was built in place of an existing since 1848 wooden bascule bridge, which was first renamed to 1860 military bridge and said military road bridge until 1877. The stone bridge was covered in a frieze of jewelry by Otto Lessing. The bridge was destroyed in the second world war. in 1954 a pre-stressed concrete bridge was built in its place
