Information provided by www.luise-berlin.de<br><br>The bear forest bridge connects Prince - and bear forest road over the Landwehrkanal. The bridge was built in 1850, first as wooden bascule bridge, 1876 to 1878 as a stone bridge with a span of 18,80 m. in 1879 it acquired its current name after the bear forest road after it was previously designated after the nearby gasworks as gasworks bridge. a reconstruction of a Lancet B took place in 1952. River-side depending on a coat of arms of cartridge, which shows a honey collecting and a fishing bear is located at the apex of the arch.
