Information provided by Hans-Joachim Wolprecht:<br>Originally called the wing road bridge: Kaditzer bridge to GDR: Rudolf Renner bridge<br>The old bridge was 1929/30 as riveted full wall plate girder bridge with a superstructure built (pictures 2 and 3). A replacement with 2 symmetric composite steel parent structures built since mid-2001 (total width between handrails 30, 50 m, age 17 m). 
Single spans (from left) 65 m - 115 m - 65 m - 40 m is the total length to 285 m. These values correspond to exactly where the old bridge. The entire construction phase including the ramps to adjust dams is about 630 m long. 
The upper stream side superstructure was built to help piers and took over first solely traffic (images 1... 3). After demolition of the old superstructure, demolition and new construction of the pillars, remodeling the abutment was the lower stream side superstructure in final location installed (fig. 4). Meanwhile, the traffic on these is shifting and the upper stream side superstructure in its final location moved. Currently the assistance pillar be demolished and the tracks on the upper stream side superstructure connected. In the spring of 2004, the bridge should be fully released for traffic.
