designed by Roland Ordish, the bridge was no longer grown the heavy traffic in the 1960s and should be torn down. After violent Prodesten from the local population was dropped this plan and reinforced the bridge. Also the steel pillars in the middle of the bridge, in addition to supporting the bridge date from this period.
