    Information provided by Wolfgang Linder:<br>The bridge was built in 1911/12 from "Mild steel". It is a riveted construction. The bridge is in a very good condition.<br><br>Information provided by Markus Widmer(23.10.2006):<br>The bridge can be lifted hydraulically, floods of the Rhône, debris and trees freely to give passage.<br>This bridge is canceled after the opening of the NEAT (Lötschberg) in December 2007.
 The lines will lead the FO new along the left bank of the Rhône. 
 
 The einfeldrige bridge has a span of 51.2 m. She served the private narrow gauge railway (the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, MGBahn - former Furka-Oberalp-Bahn, FO) crossing the Rhône river. The bridge is 4.8 m wide and weighs 270 tons.<br>in 1996, the bridge under my leadership to a lift bridge was converted to give more freeboard of the Rhone. The lifting device was designed by Proceq. It consists of 4 lifting cylinders with a Hubhähe of each 1.35 m.<br>During the floods in the year 2000 she was raised. The pictures show the bridge in the raised State.
