The old, riveted iron framework structure from 1874/75 was completely dismantled in 1991; the new structure, or rather the rail level, was lowered by about 40 cm, so that the old railway embankment at each end of the bridge also had to be lowered by 40 cm and adjusted over a length of approximately 200 m!
