first use was for the German Pavilion at the world exhibition in Brussels in 1958, then served several decades as a connection bridge between the two halves of the Zoo of the Duisburg Zoo via the motorway A3, 1998 she was dismantled and stored until it was again built a few hundred yards South of the Zoo for a few months at the Autobahnkreuz Duisburg Kaiser mountain. Due to the wider motorway a small cantilever arm as an extension was built on the Western Widrlager. The bridge consists of a torsional stiffening beam hanging on the ropes, and a side walk.
