The Knesebeckbrücke, who leads the Teltower Damm of the Zehlendorf Schönow location Teltow channel, was built in 1990 in its present form as a einfeldrige bridge. The Teltow Canal forms the Berlin Teltow city limits here in the Federal State of Brandenburg. Of 1906, the original bridge was a truss bridge with parallel straps and down the road. It was demolished after the opening of the border and replaced by a permanent temporaries.
The bridge was named after Leo Wilhelm Robert Karl von Knesebeck, who was born in Neuruppin in 1808 and died in 1883 as a landowner and district. Knesebeck was also member of the circular Canal Commission.
A bronze plaque on the bridge was unveiled in 2007 Knesebeck honoring family.
