    Span widths 65 m - 95 m - 65 m. The different height reference system (Germany refers to the Amsterdam gauge, Switzerland refers to the Pierre du Niton gauge) was known and was to be taken into account with a 27 cm superelevation of the abutment on the Swiss side. However, during implementation, a sign error resulted in the abutment being constructed 27 cm lower. Thus, the total height difference was 54 cm. The error was compensated for by corrective measures at the German abutment.
