    The Spandau-Lake bridge is an important piece of infrastructure for the
 "Water city Frisco", which is North of the old town of Spandau. With the
 new bridge the idyllically situated building areas are on both sides
 Havel connected. The "Quartier Siemens" on the West Bank is
 the eastern side is connected. When the Spandau Lake bridge was planned, was
 to add to the building in the landscape and urban environment.
 The distinctive symbols of this area, the Spandau Citadel and the island
 Eiswerder, should not be dominated by the bridge.In September 1993
 the competition for the bridge construction was launched. Victorious
 the design of the steel composite superstructure of the Engineering Office of Leonhardt, Andrä went &
 Partner and architect A. Nahim from Berlin out.<br><br>Field widths: 3 x 33.0 m - 66.0-3 x 33.0 m<br>Mantel height: 1.80 m<br>Construction cost: 36.000.000 DM
