Information provided by Claus Wentz:<br>Built in 1903 - 1905 - four arches with SpW from left:
44 - 28-27-26 m - total length = 138,10 m - height clearance road ISAR at normal water = 8.50 m - the left arc crosses an old mill moat, whose water level is normal approx. 3.80 m under the WSP of ISAR. This bridge was built according to the plans of architect Theodor Fischer. The statue comes with Otto of Wittelsbach from Georg Wrba. The Wittelsbachs were Bavarian nobility. They were Dukes, from 1623 elector and in 1806 Kings of Bavaria since 1180. 2 German Emperors came from the Wittelsberg gender.
Today, the bridge is since years protection and a synonym for the homeless.
In the same place, there was a previous bridge. She was the offset work bridge for the construction of the Broumov railway. It was built in 1876 as a steel truss bridge. Heinrich Gerber, this bridge was constructed, the Potal was built by August Voit. This bridge had to be demolished for building freedom of the successor bridge in 1903.
