    Information provided by Marcus Lange of the 28.04.2003:
 in Mannheim, currently just the approximately 50-year-old ailing bridge (four lanes, no edge stripes) in the course of the A6 is replaced by a six stripe-new (with edge trim and a foot and cycle path on a side). The construction has started in the fall of 2001 to my knowledge. In November 2003, the eastern half of the bridge is already opened (direction Frankfurt). Then, demolished the old bridge and the Western half of the bridge rebuilt. The measure as a whole should be finished by 2005.
