The Schöneicher plan was a landfill for West Berlin rubbish that separately here was storage times to East Germany from the East garbage.

The reason for this was:
The GDR tried the States from which she imported garbage, bullies, that she work on the same level of waste disposal as the other European States. "It took nature probably little, if Western waste with Western know-how is deposited, but the East garbage which is no less dangerous, is released untreated into nature". The cost of removing a ton of toxic waste sites in the Federal Republic between 300 and 4000 DM, so it was nevertheless surprising that the DDR for a ton of toxic waste called for only 150 DM.

Through this garbage imports, the GDR earned DM 1 billion, these were still the other amounts from other Western States.
