<p>On the 7.4.1945, the bridge and also the other bridges of the city to command of the armed forces leadership was blown up.Herewith, the advance of the Tunisian and Moroccan troops fighting for France should be stopped. Almost 400 years of life of a major bridge were wiped out within a few minutes. The shown image still testifies to the high architecture of past centuries and is thus older than the explosive day</p>
