Information provided by Chirstoph Wimmer:<br><br>1844: the first wooden bridge in GARS on the Inn was built.<br>1889: The bridge due to its dilapidated state was closed, ca. 1890 built a new Inn bridge made of wood.<br>During the second world war, the bridge was destroyed by Americans and then was a new bridge built with wooden pillars and a steel superstructure, with a few marschinen and freiwillign helpers.<br>2003/2004: This bridge because of its dilapidated state was newly built.
