After 40 years of operation, the building was demolished in the late afternoon of the 16.03.1945 by German troops. Over five years the traffic in this section ceased now. The destruction was almost perfect. The viaduct was rebuilt during the period from 1948 to 1950 in concrete construction. The concrete was covered with rubble.
