Information by Heidi Zahir:

The bridge is located in Heyerode, which is 15 km away from Mulhouse and used since May 2005 as a biking and hiking trail. The bridge was built in 1911 and opened the railway line on the 30.06.1911. In the early 1970s began the dismantling of the railway. The last train over the bridge took place on the 29.09.1968.
The bridge is located at km 18.5 of the former route of Mühlhausen - Treffurt.

It is of Ashlar masonry (travertine), has a wrought iron bridge railing, which is ornately decorated.
The embankment cone is quite steep and therefore attached to slope paving.
Curved curves have been created after the village side.
The route made it necessary to that built the pillar in trapezoidal ground plan.
the semicircular central arch has a span of 21.60 m
and the two semi-circular end slurs have a wing span of 10 m with lost abutments.
It is 46 m long and therefore has an arrangement of lateral outlets, so that the workers during track work had the opportunity to wait for a passing train profile-free standing.
