    Information provided by John Bacolod:<br>1709 at this point, simple wooden bridge over the Spree River called "Berlinische bridge". At the beginning of the 19th century replaced by a stronger bridge of the yoke, which widened at the end of the century by Ludwig Hoffmann and superstructure with an iron, and sculptures by Max Dennert (inauguration 1901). 1926-27 by the steel manufacturing company A. print Müller replaced a massive iron construction. After war damage recovery of iron body submerged in the river Spree and reconstruction of 1946-49.
