Amsterdam-Rjinkanaal was the Overeindsebrug (BAS7133) and the Plofsluisbrug (BAS7134) before the second world war at the intersection and Lekkanaal built with the Plofsluisbrug as a very massive concrete construction built to block the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal in an emergency with a demolition.<br>When the Amsterdam Rjinkanaal was widened in the 1970/80s, was the Plofsluisbrug in the way. The Kanaal to the bridge was led instead to demolish the bridge. Therefore, the road ends today before the diverted Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal, because the road through the Nieuwegeinsebrug.
