<br>On 18 November 2002, the Behmstraßenbrücke traffic was released at 10:00.<br>The Behmstraßenbrücke was in the years 1892 and 1893 by the Royal Prussian railway built. The total community of Berlin, which was divided into 20 districts came with the "law on the formation of a new city community in Berlin" from 1920. Now, the bridge spanned the Berlin districts of wedding and Prenzlauer Tor (since 1921 Prenzlauer Berg).<br>Without prejudice to the bridge survived the second world war, it remained operational.<br>1961 was the bridge blocked caused by the building of the wall, a steel temporary bridge erected for border crossings. The construction cost is approximately EUR 12 million.
