The first Devil's bridge from the 13th century, also the Russian General Suworow used, was destroyed in a storm night 1888 through the highly detailed Reuss. At that time was already the second Devil's bridge. It is located several metres under the current, two-lane third Devil's bridge. It was built in 1958.
