There were already similar bridges at this location, dating from 1870, 1926, and 1947, and now this one from the aforementioned period.
Two separate structures, actually two bridges with parallel trusses over the railway line. On the west side of the approach area, there are nine spans of beam bridges, and on the east side, three spans of beam bridges, as well as one span of beam bridge further east, all made of prestressed concrete.
