    Information by Klaus Ehlinger:<br><br>323-Metre building completes Rod arch bridge<br><br>(Erfurt, 22 September 2004) On September 23, a so-called Rod arch bridge over the river Gera mounted in Erfurt little bit life. It is part of a four-kilometer stage of the high-speed rail line Ebensfeld - Erfurt. The road of the car hangs at ARC spanning construction with bars at all, marking the highest point of the building with about 12 meters of height.<br><br>Two large mobile cranes put together a total of 15 items. The heaviest weighs about 60 tons. The mounting Rod arch bridge is high point of building the overall 323-metre-long bridge with 13 columns. It is divided into a reinforced concrete structure with each 20 meters of span. With regard to the crossing of the Gera is located the bar arch bridge now to be fitted with over 78 m span.
