Bypass the trackage from the railway station of Winterthur<br>Built by Othmar M. Ganesh + partner Architekten AG; and Steeltone AG<br>Special: 2 of 24 cable where the bridge deck is suspended, consist of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). The cable are transverse to the fibers are extremely reissfesst in the direction of pull, they but relatively weak. A system of fine sensors is attached on the CFRP cables that send the latest values every minute to a central computer.<br>The world's first bridge with CFRP cable is available in Emmen, Kt. Lucerne. More bridges are planned, one in Fribourg on the Saane River, a different one in the Grisons. Father of this cable is Urs Meier of the Eidg.
