Visit to the construction site on September 22, 2017: It appears that the southwest access will be widened and its load-bearing capacity improved by replacing the masonry arches with steel beam bridges. It seems that the old northeast access will be retained as the passageway described in BAS 87532.

Helmut Fischer on January 22, 2019 I hadn't been to the bridge for a long time because there was hardly any progress, until I decided to visit again on March 17, 2021, and what I saw Several changes were made. The arches at the north end, where the S-Bahn line runs, were preserved and refurbished, and the old arched bridge under the long-distance railway tracks was simply replaced with a new reinforced concrete girder bridge. What I encountered were predominantly construction workers from neighboring Poland, who had apparently done a great job rebuilding most of the new/old underpass. The alternative bridge during the construction period, which was located at the east end of the station, was no longer there, and access had been restored to its original location, partially at the west end. I photographed this new/old bridge section and have not included it as a new bridge, but rather as a supplement to the old one. Helmut Fischer on March 18, 2021
