The governor of the Brazilian state of Sergipe has welcomed directors of the Empresa Sul Americana de Montagens (EMSA) which started work last month on a US million bridge. EMSA beat 10 other qualified tenderers for the 720 day contract to build the 1.8km Aracaju-Barra dos Coqueiros Bridge. The bridge will have dual two lane carriageways as well as pedestrian and cycle lanes.
